HS Kompact is a brand that provides high quality leather goods to our customers. We stock both genuine leather and vegan leather products, so there's something for everyone!
HS represents the surnames of the two founders, Pim. H and Jason. S. When we started the venture we wanted to keep it fun. The word 'Kompact' is a small twist we used to allow our name to be easily distinguishable vs. the standard spelling (e.g. in Google searches).
New Zealand is yet to experience a convenient, fashionable and affordable pocket-companion like a wallet from HS Kompact. We noticed the popularity of these products overseas through some international insights (our friends) and our own travels. Slim wallets were in and we wanted to raise awareness back home! This inspired the first HS Kompact prototypes to be made. After finally agreeing on the perfect colours and quality arrangements for our products we tested our prototypes on extended trips around Europe and South America (luckily it was 2019 and not 2020). Safe to say we were impressed and instantly fell in love with our HS Kompact! They served us exceptionally well in terms of functionality, security and wow-factor and we couldn't wait to share them with the rest of Australia and New Zealand.
And here we are. We know you'll love yours as much as we do! Goodbye bulky wallets for good..
Returns are offered for all change-of-mind scenarios within 2 weeks of your order being delivered. Returns initiated after this period will not be accepted. Return postage must be covered by the purchaser, however we will always cover the postage cost on your order from us to you.
Faulty, defective and damaged products will be replaced at our cost within our 6-month manufacturers warranty.
All returns must be sent back in a pristine condition free from scratches or marks, and in original packaging. We conduct a quick check on every return before the funds are released. Thanks for understanding. ❤️

The standard Kompact Classic holds a total of 8-10 cards, with 5-6 instantly accessible using the flick-frame. All Kompact Classics are vegan leather. However our new Kompact Premium range is full-skin genuine leather, for those who prefer it.
The Kompact Stacks (or Stackers as they have been called) have a double layered card frame, with two seperate flick-switches. This means it can hold an extra 5-6 cards for a total of 14-16 (depending on card thickness). These are vegan leather, however we also have Premium Stacks for those who prefer genuine leather.
The Kompact Trace range is identical to the Kompact Classic, but it has a custom Air Tag / Tile tracker slot for GPS locating of the wallet. Both trackers are sold separately via respective retailers. These are vegan leather as well.
The Kompact Wanderer range is a fresh new range of RFID-protected genuine leather passport cases, perfect for your next international trip.
The Kompact, Stack and Trace wallets all have the same internal features, with a cash clip and two interior pouches. Both of these pouches hold 2-3 cards each. The only difference is in the capacity of the card flick-frames which also means the Stacks are slightly thicker.
All wallets are RFID protected for all cards within the flick-frames only. The entire Wanderer (passport sleeve) is RFID protected.
Our products are equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) protection.
All credit and debit cards are created with an in-built microchip. These chips constantly transmit signals which transmit data to card readers (such as store eftpos machines, or portable readers commonly used by scammers). RFID blocking systems reduce the transmitted signal power of chip readers, preventing the microchip in the RFID card from working. This ensures RFID card security from scammers who can potentially access your microchips data from up to a metre away! HS Kompact products keep you safe and secure!

We opted for a high quality leather-free exterior casing on all of our Kompact, Stack and Trace wallets. This casing is reinforced with a durable aluminium frame and button attachment for maximum functionality and security.
We now also offer a Premium range of Kompacts and Stacks, as well as the Kompact Wanderer (passport holder) made from superior genuine leather.

Each of our wallets has a different card capacity. The slider frames themselves hold six cards each, however each wallet has two interior pockets and 2-3 cards can be placed in each of these.
A total of 10-12 cards can be placed in the Kompact and Trace ranges. A total of 16-18 in the Stacks.
Please ensure you do not load more than this as it is not covered under our warranty. We recommend loading at least 6 cards in the frame/s to enhance the anti-slip mechanism and to ensure it functions correctly.
Our anti-slip mechanism works by creating friction against the cards with an anti-slip layer of felt inside the frame. Over time, this felt can flatten out which causes some slippage to occur.
We offer some solutions:
1. Try adding an additional card (if possible). The more cards, the greater the friction will be. An extra card to fill the frame can create enough friction for the anti-slip to work at its best. We recommend 6 cards be loaded in the frame at all times.
2. Try swapping 1-2 flat card with embossed cards such as credit cards. These cards are slightly thicker which can, once again, enhance the friction within the frame.
3. Try taking out all of your cards and roughing up the interior felt lining with a knife or a long key. This should help increase the friction once again.
